2. The relevance of the Specification



























Here we are talking about a NHS Service Specification, or any Requirement Specification. The Service Specification for a new NHS Service is produced by the local CCG.

The Service Specification is used for Trusts that are interested in tendering for the new Service to enable them design the new Service and to decide if it is financially viable for them to offer the Service.

Generic Service Specifications, for existing Services, are available from CCG, NHS England, NICE and GIRFT
